1. HOW IS SALES TAX CALCULATED? Top

Run.com determines sales tax in accordance with state and local laws and regulations. We charge applicable sales tax on all merchandise purchased in states where we have stores.

Some states require us to collect sales tax on the shipping charges as well. In those states, sales tax will be calculated on the purchase price of the merchandise plus the shipping charges.If you have any questions about the tax rate on your packing slip (invoice), or if you believe your order should be tax exempt, please call us at 866-677-2482.

2. WHEN IS MY CREDIT CARD CHARGED? Top

You are not charged for your purchase until the item ships.

When an order is placed with Run.com, we contact your card’s issuing bank to confirm that your credit card has a valid number, and has not been reported as lost or stolen. This communication is done by completing an authorization for the full amount of the order. When the authorization is done, this will place a pending hold on the account for the amount of the order. Once your order has shipped, your card will be charged.

Authorizations are generally held on the card for 7-10 business days based on the individual bank’s processes. If your payment is declined due to lack of available funds, contact your bank to confirm if the reserved funds are authorizations, verify the amount of time they hold authorizations, and request that they remove any extra authorization to free up funds in your account.

To track your order, simply go to www.run.com and choose “Order Inquiry” from the links available at the bottom of the screen, or in your My Account section under My Orders.

You may also contact a Customer Care representative to obtain the status of your order by calling 866-677-2482.

Please note that the information available to Run.com’s Customer Care Representatives is the same information that is available on the web site.

Once we ship the items in your order, you will receive a shipment confirmation email with your UPS tracking number included. You may use this tracking number at www.ups.com to monitor the order in-transit.

Cancel and Change Requests:

4. HOW DO I CANCEL AN ORDER? Top

If for any reason you would like to cancel your order, please call 866-677-2482 as soon as possible. We will do everything we can to accommodate your request but cannot guarantee that your request will be honored due to real time order processing. If an order has already entered the shipping process, we will not be able to cancel the order.

If your order cannot be cancelled, you may either refuse delivery of the product or ship the product back to us. Run.com advises that when shipping product back, customers should insure the item for full value should anything happen during shipping. Run.com is not responsible for returned product in transit.

Please see our Return Policies section for further details. We will not refund shipping for these orders since the order already was shipped.

5. HOW DO I CHANGE AN ORDER? Top

Once an order has been confirmed, we cannot change or add anything to the order without attempting to cancel the order. All items processed on an order are entered in our inventory management database and cannot be altered once the order has been confirmed.

If your order cannot be cancelled, you may either refuse delivery of the product or return the order to us via mail or at one of our stores. Please see our Return Policies section for further details. We will not refund shipping for these orders since the order already was shipped.
