This is a lovely little known park. Beautiful scenery. The main trail traces the perimeters of Lake Rogers and a couple of much smaller adjacent lakes. The main loop is marked as 2.1 mi. It is all off road. Bark chips, dirt, grass. Some nice elevation changes, dips, twists, turns. Three water kiosks on the main loop. There is a great little side trail right after you pass the first kiosk when you get to the trail from the main parking lot. It adds less than a tenth of a mile, but it's the best part of the whole trail - more technical with roots, etc. There is a port-a-john at the main parking lot and there is one near one of the kiosks. Two parking lots, picnic tables.
Lake Rogers Park is located on the south side of North Mobley Road just west of Sheldon Road. Turn at Fox's Corner, which is about a couple miles north of Sickles High School in the Citrus Park area in the northwest part of the county.
