Route Description

wonderful running route in front of the eolian island... in the late afternoon you can run enjoing one of the best italian sunset.

The route starts from the " 'ngonia del Tono"... the Tono bay and soon it pass at the base of the hystorical Mylae castle and close to the "Polyphemus cave" where the epic cyclope is still waiting for Ulysses while taking a long rest.

After two or three kms you can finally enjoy the majestic view of the Etna mountain.. "la montagna"... "the mountain" as sicilian people call it.
